Shweta Khadka organized a night called ‘Kanchhi Musical Night’ for the fund raising of this Majhi Basti. The area is being developed by Shweta Shree Foundation, a foundation registered in memory of actor Shree Krishna Shresta. Shree had died later marrying Shweta.

At the event arranged in Annapurna Hotel at Durbar Marg, mature choreographer, Basanta Kumar Shrestha was awarded Rs. 51,000 and life-time achievement honour. In the event the members of Shweta Shree Foundation film artists and ‘Kanchhi’ film team. There were a total of approximately three hundred guests.
Comedy artist Basundhara Bhuwal along with Menuka Thapa of all Rakshya Nepal were honoured in the event. Film editor Bhupendra Adhikari along with the busy member of Majhai Basti structure, Yagaraj Karki were honoured.
The musician of the popular tune ‘Chari Chatta Pari’, ” Rajan Raj Siwakoti was awarded a motorbike for the achievement of the tune. Akash Adhikari, Jebika Karki, Marishka Pokharel, Binod Neupane and Ashishma Nakarmi had enjoyed on the platform.
Comedy artists Jitu Nepal and Sandeep Chhetri did exude humor, humor poet Shailendra Simkhada had performed on stage. Yuwaraj Chaulagain, singers Dharmendra Sewan, also Mandabi Tripati sang the title tune of the Film.
Current in the event were actresses Bhuwan Chand, Chaitya Devi Singh, musicians Nir Shah, Harihar Sharma, Gauri Malla, Karishma Manandhar, Dayahang Rai, Dr. Bhola Rijal etc.. Ex COA Kukmangad Katuwal, Ramesh Kharel, athlete Deepak Bista and many others were within the event.
The Majhi Basti is being assembled and Shweta’s comeback movie ‘Kanchhi’ is publishing in fourteen days.
